This November, The Grillhouse celebrated 17 years of being in the steak restaurant business. In an industry of pop-ups, shut-downs, recessions and change, The Grillhouse still proudly boasts being Johannesburg’s top independent steakhouse (as voted in the Leisure Options Readers’ Choice Awards).

Their recipe? Consistent good food, stellar service and a restaurant atmosphere that is at once smart and sophisticated, yet warm and “homely”.
